Chatham Grammar, is a selective 11-19 girls school with a focus on inclusivity, leadership skills, self belief, wellbeing and academic excellence. At Chatham Grammar, staff set high expectations for all students and do all they can to help them achieve and exceed their aspirations. The recent Ofsted report in 2023 highlights many strengths and aspirational attributes using words such as 'exceptional' in key areas of the report. One parent shared their thoughts during the Ofsted visit and said,' Not only is my child receiving a good education, but she is being nurtured into a strong, confident, resilient young woman.’ Chatham Grammar prides itself on providing an outstanding educational experience and the young people that attend this small school feel part of a family, feel listened too, respected and cared for. The commitment to the wider community goes above and beyond most traditional schools and Chatham Grammar boosts an engaging and inclusive family and adult learning in partnership with the UKAT sponsor the University of Kent, focusing on empowering learners through high quality access programmes. The Partnership Development Programme is an innovative creation of secondary school meets primary schools, with a twist of university lecturers and student ambassadors providing high quality programmes during weekends and school holidays.
